Dili Distance Learning Center (DDLC)

imageThe Dili Distance Learning Center (DDLC) has been established to support the development process in Timor-Leste. It is working to help build the capacity of Timorese institutions through providing appropriate training and information. The immediate goal of the DDLC is to enhance the skills of development decision makers in Timor-Leste from all levels. This is achieved through courses, seminars and discussions from a variety of global sources.

Since its establishment in 2002, the DDLC has offered a number of activities including global dialogues on land policy, global seminars on HIV/AIDS and a variety of intensive courses ranging from office techniques to drafting laws. A dynamic and visionary centre, the DDLC actively seeks content from partners worldwide to provide a valuable service to Timor-Leste.

Timor-Leste GDLN was established in 2001 and is located within the office of the World Bank in Dili.
