On the occasion of the First GDLN AP General Meeting, a survey was conducted to help us better understand our DLC community.
Here is a snapshot of results on multiple choice questions: On program topics, DLCs were most interested in “education” and “governance”, each receiving 66.7% of the vote. “Environment”, “health” and “finance” also figured prominently, with 55.6% respectively. As for types of courses, all respondents said they were most interested in “structured courses”, with “seminars” and “conferences” tied for second place.
The survey also asked how websites could best be utilized. “Community building” came out top with 77.8%. “On-line registration” and “discussion space” were also in high demand.
