July 11, 2009 13:30-17:00
As part of the ” Orphan Meets Artist/ Artist Meets Orphan” program, we are coming to a final stage of activity 1 “Uganda’s AIDS Orphan Meets Artist Tatsuo Miyajima”.
From the past three series of study sessions and the workshop in Uganda, we have learned about the current situation of Uganda and about the HIV/AIDS orphans and how art can give influence to the Uganda children. The workshop was designed by students who have agreed on Tatsuo Miyajima’s action, and to represent their thoughts, Mr. Miyajima went to Uganda to hold a workshop with the Uganda orphans.
To exchange the experience and knowledge from the workshop in Uganda, we will be holding a symposium on July 11, 13:30-17:00 in the National Art Center Tokyo.
