Pereira:Cannot control emotions after been equalized by opponent

In the post-match press conference, Shanghai SIPG head coach Pereira said: "in the first half we played very well and got many opportunities to score not just one goal. Everyone did a good job together, we tried to win the game by passing and catching the ball. But after Beijing Renhe equalizing the score, there are some problems in control of everyone's emotions, the impact of the goal conceded made us lose balance in the later game and play badly. Although such a result is not what we want, but then this is football.”

As for the emotional control of the players, Pereira also expressed his understanding to this, "it is understandable that there are emotional problems, because the players are all human beings. In the previous game, we fought for the first place on the ranking table, it was normal that we were not in the best mood after losing. In fact, players really want to win through efforts after losing the ball, but the way to deal with it is not very reasonable, not very appropriate. If we had the chance to score two or three goals in the first half, the game would have been totally different.”

The head coach of Beijing Renhe Wang Bo thanks to the players for their efforts after the game, “they fought tenaciously on the field, played professionally and played an ideal game. We should do better than our opponent in terms of tactics and spirit. Although the team has been demoted, but we can keep this spirit, for the future and next year.”
